House of XI's
House Parties! The Movie.
Promo Trailer
Nearing Production . . . Fighting All The Way!
Hello Cast,
Crew, and Everyone! Here's the Latest HPTM News!
Wes, Bob, Susan, Sara, and Robert, have been of exceptional assistance in
helping me to understand that a hard to make feature film is actually the norm in Hollywood.
House of XI's House Parties - The Movie! will be the funniest, freshest, most original feature film, that will truly scare the crap right out of the audience, but make them burst with laughter immediately following.
To scare someone then immediately make them laugh is a profound psychological script weave.
I was afraid that I was way off the mark! Wrong! Bob, nearly single handedly, kept finding believers to back their first film, Bob distributes movies, he does not help produce them... until Wes's script grabbed his "ART BUG" and he would not let anyone give up, no matter what!
I have access to the same Hollywood community, and distribution is already in the bag for our film, much like Bob's situation was.
Eventually the gang was able to start full production, but the backers weren't being convinced from the
"Dailys" and believe it or not, straight from Bob's mouth, the were left mid production with not a dollar left. Sara flew out to Hollywood and asked the entire crew to please keep working and in a couple weeks they'd start getting their weekly checks again.
Not one Cast or Crew member backed out. Wes kept Directing them, while Bob and Susie Telalay scoured from Hong Kong to London to New York trying to find $400,000 more to finish the film.
Once the 1.1 million dollar film was finished, would you believe it, Paramount then decided that they weren't going to buy the film after all, citing, Horror films are out... Blah... Blah... etc.
Bob said, "Well I guess I'm a film producer now.", Sara stepped up, and Susie took on more duties as Line Producer and
Accounting. Bob's Company New Line Cinema didn't have fat cash back then and he leveraged everything, and bought out the 1.1 million dollar option and became the
owner of and the exclusive distributor of...
"A Nightmare On Elm Street." the rest is film history, and New Line Cinema
made 4.1 million on it and has been producing many films and sequels ever
since. Wes Craven, Bob (Robert) Shaye, Robert Englund, Sara Risher, and Susan
Telalay, have made me realize that I am right on track. I am very very
grateful for their candor.
The promo "Trailer" is a definite go! And the full film itself is really gaining attention from the Hollywood production companies, whose skilled teams I will need to produce the film, and not as some "B Movie"
garbage, Yuck!
Enya and Anya, will be the cutest, most lovably fun twins to ever terrify the dickens out of an
audience.
"This is what film making is truly like."-
